MOTIVATION

Everyday youth are affected by gangsterism poverty, drugs, alcohol, in our community were morality is low and guidance is little. The mosque and churches all speak of disfunctional homes and unruly youths yet no guidance or way forward is shown to them.

Many times it seem that darkness, decadents has taken over from truth guidance and justice, and in this light the Mustadafin Foundation has embarked in a process of healing amongst youth were we re-start life in order to boost self-confidence, develop skill that they otherwise have been unable to acquire due to lack of opportunity. The Islamic camps, during the holidays also encourage them to share and integrate themselves with others in the same or similar positions than themselves.

We know the Western Cape is not the only area who suffers the same fate as youth all over the world are a grave concern for all of us

Mustadafin knows and has seen the positive result in there programmes for youth and in there madressa and we are encourage by the leadership that has already emerged amongst the youth, however, we know the enormous task ahead of us as this is not a project for the faint-hearted but for those with a vision and a positive expectation of our country and the Muslim community in general.

OBJECTIVES

• To introduce and transform “youth at risk” into strong, positive community leader of the future through intensive Islamic training.

• To initialize skills training in conjunction with feeding schemes, literacy and job creation programs.

• The integration of unemployed individuals in self-sustaining projects is of utmost importance to the Foundation.

• To encourage community upliftment and dignity among the poor, destitute and deprived communities particularly among our youth.

AIMS

• To educate the communities to become self-sufficient, self reliant and independent.

• To nurture healthy minds and bodies for children / adults of school going age.

• To educate the various communities in their upliftment.

MISSION

To provide a development opportunity to young in particularly underprivileged  youth from all communities of the Western Cape, to grow leadership skill, grow personally, and acquire skills and knowledge so that they can contribute to society in a moral, spiritual and social spheres.

CONCLUSION

The Mustadafin Foundation believes and ends with the following:

 Prophet (SAW) said regarding youth:
 Youthfulness is not only appearance but those who use intellect/intelligence,
 They have fresh minds.

 There are three kinds of personalities:

 The one who change and solve the problem, but don’t become the Problem – they find solutions or migrate.
