During 2006 operation winter warmth more than 7000 blankets, clothing, food parcels and 300 Ikhaya covers were distributed to the impoverish communities in the Western Cape. During winter the people most affected are the people living in the informal settlements babies, the elderly and sick. This far 2007 winter has been freezing cold and has seen Mustadafin going as far as Worcether and Suurbrak to assist communities with the harsh cold. We have distributed to date 10 000 blankets 52 Ikhaya covers and provided 4000 food parcels with the partnership of Muslim Hands and KFM food contribution this winter.
