Graduation Report 2003
Our first Graduation was in 1992. In 2000 Mustadafin Foundation received a beautiful structure from the City Council. This was the start of our first Edu-care named Mustadafin Edu-care. All other Edu-care established early was named by the community itself. The community of site be chose the name Mustadafin because it reflect the circumstances of the community.
Mustadafin was officially opened 2 August 2001 at site B in Khayelitahs with 2 teachers, 1 cooker, principal and a gardener.
The official opening was done by city council Sydney, Naledi Pandor, G.Johnstone-Adams (Director M.F), honored guest and Khayelitsha community
Mustadafin Edu-care had a second graduation on the 6 December 2003 at 12.30 art Mustadafin Edu-care at site B.
18 Kids graduates there names are: Nothi Magoiloza, Sive Silwantana, Luincedo Stemmele, Abongile Milisi, Luzuko Mnqanqeru, Mamusa Moruri, Theo Moruri, Andiswa Notshe, Nomzamo Mcinga, Andisiwe Notshe, Emihle Matiwane, Yonela Goba, Hlasedi Moruri, Azi Mbaleki, Siphosethu Yawani, Xhamla Nkqayana, Wonke Gwebushe, Ayabulela Nkayana.
They were +_ 100 people who attend this event. The guest of honor were Director of Mustadafin Foundation; Mrs Ghairuisa Adams, Principal of Mustadafin Edu-care Mrs Notsapho Ngebiyana, Field worker Olivia Xuba, 2 teachers Zimkhitha Nikelo, Connie Zalanda, Mr. Zuziwe. 3 graduates who hand over nthe certificates were Mr. Sipho, Nomachina, Nomhinti & parent Mrs Notshe.
The ceremony opened by Mr. Zuziwe the 3 guest of honors hand over the certificates.
The children were doing other activities, the director, teachers and or guest of honors they receive gifts parents as to say thank you for your good work of taking care of our children.
